Call of Duty: Mobile announces Season 9 Vampires vs Werewolves

Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Mobile Season 9, titled ‘Vampires vs Werewolves’, will launch on October 14. This update marks the first time in the game’s history that the community has voted to decide a seasonal theme and specific Battle Pass designs.

The season features a faction-based competition called the ‘Fang Wars’ event, where players choose between Vampires or Werewolves to earn exclusive rewards, such as the SO-14 Lunar Marksman sniper rifle or the Type 25 Lone Wolf assault rifle. Additionally, a ‘Call of the Dead’ event inspired by Día de Muertos will allow players to collect ‘Howlbones’ to redeem items like the K-9 Ghost Unit operator skin.

Gameplay additions include a new multiplayer mode called ‘Leader’s Kill Confirmed’. In this mode, one player per team is designated as a Leader equipped with mechanical armor, making them a high-value target. The update also introduces the Grav Assault Rifle and returns several limited-time Halloween-themed maps and modes.
