Call of Duty: Warzone to add Operator Skin Toggle in Season 1

Activision has announced significant updates for Call of Duty: Warzone arriving with Season 1 of Modern Warfare 4. A key feature is the introduction of the ‘Operator Skin Toggle,’ a client-side visual filter designed to address community feedback regarding increasingly outlandish or non-military cosmetics. When enabled, the toggle replaces the skins of other players—including enemies, teammates, and party members in both matches and lobbies—with standard Modern Warfare 4 operators. This setting is off by default and does not affect how other players see the user; the user's own equipped operator remains unchanged regardless of the toggle status.

Despite these visual changes, the ‘Carry Forward’ system will remain active. Players will retain access to all weapons, skins, blueprints, and camos earned or purchased in previous titles, including Modern Warfare II, Modern Warfare III, Black Ops 6, and Black Ops 7.

Additionally, the RICOCHET Anti-Cheat team released a report detailing ongoing efforts to combat the cheating market. Recent operations have resulted in the closure of 31 major cheat providers, the neutralization of over 375 resale activities, and the issuance of more than 80 legal cease-and-desist orders.
