Callao recovers Avenida Venezuela section occupied illegally for 20 years

The Provincial Municipality of Callao has recovered more than 100 meters of public space on Avenida Venezuela that had been illegally occupied by structures for over two decades. Supported by the National Police and heavy machinery, the intervention targeted the section between the La Perla oval and Carlos A. Saco street.

The municipality stated that the operation cleared auxiliary lanes and sidewalks to improve safety and accessibility for pedestrians and drivers. The occupied areas were linked to Inversiones Euclara S. A., IESA S. A., and the marital partnership of Aldo Eduardo Muller Bull and Zoila Linda Jacobs Bardales.

Ongoing demolition work has caused traffic congestion in the area. Authorities have advised drivers to use alternative routes, as restrictions apply in both directions from Astete Avenue to the La Perla oval toward Guardia Chalaca Avenue.
