Callaway Golf Company, the parent of the global golf‑equipment brand Callaway, announced that its net sales for the first half of fiscal 2026 rose 5.7% year‑on‑year to $12.99 billion. Adjusted EBITDA increased 33.1% to $2.886 billion and operating profit grew 38.4% to $1.507 billion, driven by strong performance in clubs and golf balls, while apparel and other segments fell 3.6% in the second quarter. CEO Chip Brewer said the results exceeded expectations and the company is continuing its capital‑allocation strategy.

Kao Corporation reported a 7.8% increase in consolidated sales to ¥871.9 billion for the same period, with operating profit up 38.5% to ¥95.8 billion and net profit to shareholders rising 32.3% to ¥65.7 billion.
