Callicoon Theater in New York Recognized as Historic Quonset Hut Cinema

The Callicoon Theater, located in Callicoon, Sullivan County, New York, was originally built in the 1940s and is the oldest continually operating cinema in the county. Its building features a distinctive "Quonset Hut" design, making it one of only 17 operational Quonset Hut cinemas remaining in the United States.
