Callington and Kelly Bray residents to vote on development plan

Residents of Callington and Kelly Bray will participate in a referendum on November 5 to decide on the adoption of a new neighbourhood development plan. The vote will determine whether Cornwall Council should utilize this specific plan when evaluating future planning applications within the designated area.

If approved by a majority, the plan will become part of the statutory development plan used by the council to guide local development and priorities. A total of 4,795 people are eligible to vote, provided they meet the residency and registration requirements for a Cornwall Council election within the referendum area. The referendum will be conducted under electoral regulations with a spending limit of £2,644.90.
