Callington Town defeats Bude Town 2-1 in SWPL Premier West

Callington Town secured a 2-1 victory over Bude Town in a South West Peninsula League Premier West match held at Poltair. The win marks a league double for Callington, who previously defeated Bude 3-2 in August.

Kieran Prescott opened the scoring for Callington in the 22nd minute after capitalizing on a loose pass. Bude Town responded quickly, with winger Piran Friend equalizing just two minutes later following a cut-back from Nathan Colley.

Despite Bude maintaining significant possession, Callington regained the lead with 14 minutes remaining when Joe Preece finished from eight yards. Callington held on to the victory, maintaining their strong season form as they compete for the title against teams like St Austell and Penzance.
