Callum Turner's father skips Dua Lipa wedding for London ceremony

Pop star Dua Lipa and actor Callum Turner married twice in 2024 – first a civil ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London, then a lavish celebration in Sicily attended by around 300 guests and numerous celebrity friends.

Callum Turner's father, Laurence Cole, was not present at the Sicilian festivities. A source said he was in north London attending the wedding of Spandau Ballet drummer John Keeble’s daughter, Jamie Rae Keeble. The father‑son relationship has been described as "estranged" but recently improving, with friends noting he is "unashamedly proud of Callum".

The couple’s parents and half‑siblings were present, while the father's absence was noted by attendees and reported in the British press.
