Calolziocorte holds funeral for entrepreneur Roberto Butti

Large crowds gathered in Sala, a district of Calolziocorte, for the funeral of 72-year-old entrepreneur Roberto Butti on Saturday, September 26. The service was held at the Santi Cosma e Damiano parish church. Due to the high number of attendees, many people followed the ceremony from the lawn and the church square.

Butti passed away on Monday afternoon following an accident at his family business, Eredi Vincenzo Butti (E.V.B.), a metalworking company established in the 1960s. He was remembered by the community as a generous man and a dedicated worker.

As a tribute to his passion for motocross, members of the BBR Off Road team participated in the service. Riders in team uniforms accompanied the casket to the hearse, with motocross bikes displayed in front of the church.
