The municipality of Caloveto has approved a Technical and Economic Feasibility Project (PFTE) to implement seismic upgrades and redevelopment for the nursery school located on via Sandro Pertini. The total investment is estimated at 700,739.91 euros.

Mayor Umberto Mazza announced that the administration has authorized a candidacy for funding through the Ministry of Education and Merit, utilizing resources from the 2023-2024 state-managed 'Otto per mille' IRPEF. The project, designed by architect Antonella Maringolo, aims to address structural degradation, cracks, and infiltrations in the 1973 building.

The proposed innovative solution includes the installation of an external metal exoskeleton to improve the building's response to seismic activity, alongside structural reinforcements and thermal insulation.
