Caltanissetta municipal swimming pool to reopen July 30

The Raimondo Collodoro municipal swimming pool in Caltanissetta is scheduled to reopen to the public on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 18:30, following the completion of redevelopment works. The reopening ceremony will include Mayor Walter Tesauro, municipal administration representatives, civil and military authorities, and officials from CONI Caltanissetta and FIN Sicilia.

The facility is named in honor of Raimondo Collodoro (1918–2003), a former mayor of Caltanissetta and recipient of the Stella d'oro al merito sportivo. Collodoro was a prominent athlete and sports official who served as a CONI delegate for Caltanissetta from 1951 to 1986.
