Caltanissetta police issue bans for public establishment violence

The Police Commissioner of Caltanissetta, Marco Giambra, has issued two bans on entering and staying in public establishments following incidents of violence and resistance to public officials in the province.

In Caltanissetta, a 30-year-old man was arrested after behaving aggressively toward staff at a pub while intoxicated and striking a police officer. Due to his criminal record, he has been banned from several public venues for one year.

In Mussomeli, a 20-year-old man faces a three-year ban from public establishments. He is accused of attacking patrons at a bar, resisting Carabinieri officers, and damaging parked vehicles near Piazza Umberto I. The extended duration of the ban reflects his perceived social danger and prior criminal history.
