Calvello launches digital memory initiative using augmented reality
The municipality of Calvello has introduced “Memorie Digitali” (Digital Memories), an initiative designed to bridge public art, memory, and innovation to enhance local community identity. The project utilizes digital tools, such as augmented reality, to showcase the territory and its cultural heritage.
Presented at a conference involving Mayor Anna Cantisani, the initiative is a collaborative effort between the Municipality of Calvello, the OSA Festival, and MAUA (Museum of Augmented Urban Art). The program aims to use culture as a driver for development through strategic investments like Integrated Culture Plans (PIC), which align with European and national local development policies.
