Calvenzano installs Don Matteo Pini as new parish priest

Don Matteo Pini has been officially installed as the new parish priest in Calvenzano, Bergamo. The solemn Mass was led by Bishop Antonio Napolioni on October 10.

Don Pini, 52, succeeds Don Franco Sudati and will oversee three parishes: Calvenzano, San Lorenzo Martire in Arzago, and Santa Maria Immacolata in Casirate. This move aims to foster pastoral unity among the three communities. Local Mayor Fabio Ferla expressed the community's willingness to collaborate during the transition.

Supporting the new priest is a team of collaborators, including Don Gabriele Battaini, who will also serve as chaplain at the Treviglio-Caravaggio Hospital, alongside Don Natalino Tibaldini and Don Emilio Merisi.
