Calvin Klein unveils Spring 2027 collection in New York

Creative Director Veronica Leoni presented the Calvin Klein Collection Spring 2027 runway show at the Terminal Warehouse in New York. The collection focuses on the concept of American Minimalism, which Leoni describes as a discipline of removal, stripping away everything unnecessary to focus on the relationship between design and the body.

The collection features reimagined brand staples, including coats, shirts, tailored suits, pencil skirts, and slip dresses, often with elongated proportions and emphasized waists. Materials range from lightweight cotton and wool to silk, denim, leather, and laser-cut suede. The aesthetic blends high fashion with American sportswear, incorporating silk knit T-shirts and silk crepe baseball shirts.

The color palette is primarily black and white, accented by vibrant shades of scarlet, bright yellow, royal blue, cherry, and light lemon. Patterns include checks inspired by the wardrobe of artist Georgia O’Keeffe. Accessories emphasize practicality, featuring metal headbands, draped scarves, and oversized bags in both structured and soft forms, including a new origami-inspired triangular shape.
