Palagonia fatal car crash kills two young residents

A fatal car accident occurred in the early hours of the morning on Provincial Road 132 near Palagonia, Sicily. A Fiat Punto carrying four young residents of Palagonia lost control and crashed into a wall and a parked vehicle.

Two passengers in the rear seats lost their lives: a 20-year-old who died at the scene and a 19-year-old who passed away in the hospital. The driver, aged 18, and another passenger are currently hospitalized in serious condition.

Emergency responders, including the local Vigili del Fuoco and 118 medical personnel, attended the scene to extract the occupants and secure the area. Carabinieri are conducting investigations and analyzing surveillance footage to determine the exact cause of the crash.
