Calzados Salamone opens new retail location in Mendoza City
Calzados Salamone, a family-owned footwear company with 65 years of history in Mendoza, has opened a new retail location at Garibaldi 7 in the center of Mendoza City. The new branch is situated in a strategic historical area known as 'kilometer zero,' beneath the Gómez building.
Mayor Ulpiano Suarez attended the opening alongside local economic development officials. Suarez noted that the expansion serves as a positive sign of confidence in the city's commercial center, particularly as some small and medium-sized enterprises have recently closed. The local government supported the opening by providing zero-cost commercial licensing and online processing.
Founded in 1961 by Antonio Salamone, the company has expanded from its original location to include multiple branches across Mendoza, including Maipú, Luján de Cuyo, Tunuyán, San Martín, and Godoy Cruz. This new establishment brings the company's total locations in Mendoza City to four.
