Cam Cook leads West Virginia to victory over former team TCU

West Virginia running back Cam Cook played a pivotal role in the Mountaineers' 24-20 victory over TCU in Fort Worth. Returning to face his former team for the first time since transferring, Cook rushed for 90 yards against a highly-rated Horned Frogs defensive front.

Cook averaged five yards per carry and recorded three carries of over 10 yards, including a signature 31-yard run that helped set up a touchdown. Despite media questions regarding extra motivation following his departure from TCU, Cook maintained that he approached the matchup as “just another game.”
