Cam Jurgens enters concussion protocol amid performance struggles

Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Cam Jurgens has entered the NFL concussion protocol after self-reporting symptoms. His status for the Week 5 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London remains uncertain.

Jurgens, who moved from center to left guard following Landon Dickerson’s injury, has faced significant statistical criticism. Pro Football Focus ranks him as the lowest-graded guard among qualified players, noting he has allowed 12 pressures. Despite these struggles and recent performance issues, head coach Nick Sirianni stated he remains pleased with Jurgens’ play and is not currently considering a change at the left guard position.

Jurgens' injury comes amidst a growing list of ailments for the Eagles, which included several players missing during their Week 4 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
