Cam Ranh military base families support soldiers in Truong Sa

In the Cam Ranh Military Base Urban Area in Khanh Hoa, the families of soldiers stationed in the Truong Sa Islands maintain stable lives while their husbands serve at sea.

Major Nguyen Nguyen The Vinh, currently serving in the Truong Sa Special Zone, resides in this urban area with his wife, Tran Thi Phuong, and their two children. While Vinh is away on duty, Phuong manages the household and raises their children alone. Their seven-year-old son, Nguyen Duy Hung, finds comfort in small gifts sent from his father, such as seashells from the islands, which help bridge the distance between them.

Phuong noted that she accepted the challenges of being a military spouse, including long periods of separation, from the beginning of their marriage. For the past four years, she has managed all domestic responsibilities and childcare independently to support her husband's service.
