Cam Ward Leads Titans' Pre‑Camp Chemistry Trip to Miami

Quarterback Cam Ward organized a three‑week team gathering in Miami before the Tennessee Titans' training camp. During a red‑zone drill, Ward threw a touchdown pass to rookie wide receiver Carnell Tate and celebrated the play with his teammate, emphasizing the need for on‑field chemistry.

The players combined workouts, swimming, shopping and boating to build bonds that the coaching staff hopes will translate into pressure‑time performance and a Super Bowl run. New offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, hired by head coach Robert Saleh, is implementing a scheme that Ward says he now better understands. General manager Mike Borgonzi highlighted roster moves, including the signing of free‑agent receiver Wan'Dale Robinson, a restructured contract for veteran Calvin Ridley, the fourth‑overall pick of Carnell Tate, and the return of Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike.

Ward, the No. 1 overall pick of the 2025 draft, finished his rookie season with 55 sacks and seven of eleven fumbles, both team highs, and aims to improve his decision‑making and pressure handling as the Titans prepare for the upcoming season.
