Camaquã Farroupilha Camp attracts over 20,000 people

The first Farroupilha Camp in Camaquã attracted more than 20,000 people, according to organizers. Held at the Parque do Sindicato Rural, the event featured over 100 camps and a parade involving 45 entities and approximately 800 traditionalists on horseback.

Organizers reported that the rural competition segment exceeded expectations by 40%, with high participation in lassoing events. The gastronomic area, featuring food trucks and local family farming vendors, saw significant sales, with many stocks selling out by Sunday. Due to the event's success, a second edition has been confirmed, with plans to improve electrical infrastructure and logistics for future years.
