Camargo Mayor promotes family strengthening to prevent violence

In Camargo, Mayor Jorge Aldana has emphasized the importance of strengthening public institutions to prevent domestic violence. During a state workshop focused on implementing affective parenting and family strengthening policies, Aldana highlighted that fostering respectful and communicative environments within the home is essential for building safer communities.

The initiative involves coordination between various municipal departments, including the DIF, Public Security, and Social Prevention. UNICEF Mexico is participating as a technical ally to support the rights of children and adolescents and to provide tools for municipal officials to better assist families in need.
