Cambados launches traditional circus school via Circus Nova

The Circus Nova company, led by artists Brandan Corredoira and Fátima Cacheda, has launched a traditional circus school in Cambados in collaboration with the local City Council. The program is offered as an extracurricular activity and currently has approximately twenty students enrolled, with about thirty spots still available.

The school is open to individuals of all ages and physical abilities, requiring only a desire to participate. The curriculum includes disciplines such as juggling, tightrope walking, pole dance, and both floor and aerial acrobatics. Students will work toward performing a gala show at the end of the course. Instructors emphasize that the training provides benefits beyond physical activity, including discipline, emotional control, and teamwork.
