Cambira Community Security Council Reactivated to Boost Police Presence
The Community Security Council (Conseg) of Cambira is being reactivated to strengthen policing and public‑security infrastructure in the municipality. A meeting held on Friday, 7 August 2026 brought together local police commanders, the regional prosecutor Carlos Frederico dos Guaranys Escocard de Azevedo, Conseg regional president Antônio Carlos, and leaders of the 1st and 2nd Companies of the 10th Military Police Battalion.
The council aims to create a permanent dialogue channel between residents and security forces, prioritize the increase of police personnel, and attract structural investments. Community members will be invited to join the council, with a follow‑up gathering scheduled for Wednesday, 12 August, to register interested participants and define the next steps.
Authorities expect that the renewed partnership will speed up case resolution and improve overall service delivery throughout Cambira.
