Cambridge Audio introduces Spira turntable

Cambridge Audio has launched the Spira, its most affordable turntable to date, priced at £329 / $499. The device is designed for versatility, compatible with full HiFi systems, active speakers, Bluetooth speakers, or headphones.

The Spira features a pre-fitted Audio-Technica cartridge with a removable headshell for easier upgrades, such as the Audio-Technica 3600LE elliptical stylus. It includes a built-in phono stage that can be bypassed to accommodate external phono preamps. For wireless connectivity, the unit contains a built-in Bluetooth transmitter.

Constructed with a solid lacquered wooden plinth and an aluminium alloy tonearm with adjustable tracking force and anti-skate, the turntable utilizes a 1.8kg engineered steel platter to improve rotational stability. Additional features include electronic speed selection for 33 and 45rpm, vibration-absorbing feet, a felt mat, and a hinged smoked dust cover. The model is available in five colors: Black, White, Blue, Green, and Orange.
