Aldergrove shooting: Man arrested on 11 charges

A 40-year-old man, identified as Kyle Jensen, has been arrested and faces 11 charges following a shooting in Aldergrove on Monday, August 24. The incident occurred in the 26900-block of 26A Avenue, leaving one individual in serious but stable condition at a local hospital.

Langley RCMP reported that the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle and was later observed driving erratically near 256 Street and 24 Avenue. The charges against Jensen include robbery with a firearm, break and enter, theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving, unlawfully causing bodily harm, and multiple counts related to the possession of prohibited or restricted firearms.

Authorities stated that the investigation is ongoing and the motive for the shooting has not yet been determined. Police confirmed there is no ongoing risk to the public and characterized the event as an isolated incident. Jensen remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
