Cambridgeshire County Council invites carers to shape support services
Cambridgeshire County Council is inviting unpaid carers to participate in a series of workshops designed to shape the future of adult carer support services in the county. The initiative aims to gather insights from those with lived experience to influence service priorities, delivery models, and commissioning plans.
The workshops are scheduled to take place between September 2026 and March 2027. Graham Wilson, chair of the council’s Adults and Health Committee, emphasized that the experiences of carers are invaluable for ensuring support meets current and future needs. This effort also contributes to ‘The Big Conversation on Care’, a large-scale public dialogue regarding adult social care.
