Cambridgeshire former prison and courthouse for sale

A historic property in Cambridgeshire, known as the ‘Old Courthouse’, is currently on the market for £800,000. The nine-bedroom residence was formerly a police station, courthouse, and prison.

The building served as a police station from 1855 until 1958 and functioned as a courthouse until 1970. Despite its modern renovation, the 372-square-meter home retains historical traces, including an almost unchanged former cell with original flooring, paint, and inscriptions dating back to 1821.
