Cambrils festival activities relocated due to ground subsidence

The Festa Major de la Mare de Déu del Camí in Cambrils has undergone significant logistical changes following heavy rainfall. Recent storms caused a ground subsidence at the Torre del Llimó, rendering its patio unsafe for public use.

Municipal technical services inspected the site and expressed concerns regarding the stability of the surface and the structural integrity of an air-raid shelter located beneath the area. Consequently, the Cambrils City Council and the Vileros organization have decided to relocate several scheduled activities to ensure public safety.

The Campament Vilero will now be held at Parc del Pinaret. Additionally, the Homenatge a les Camí has been moved to the Sala de Plens of the Cambrils City Hall. While most events are being reassigned, the location for the Ball Parlat de Vileros i Mariners, scheduled for September 8, is still being finalized through ongoing coordination between local authorities and festival organizers.
