Cambrils hosts major European minifootball competitions

Cambrils, Spain, is hosting four major official club competitions organized by the European Minifootball Federation (EMF) from September 23 to 29. The events include the EMF Champions League, the EMF Women's Champions League, the Euro Cup, and the EMF Masters Cup for players over 40.

The tournament brings together approximately 1,250 footballers from 80 teams representing various nations, including Austria, Slovakia, Turkey, Poland, Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, England, Romania, and the Czech Republic. The hosting agreement was signed in May by Cambrils Mayor Oliver Klein, EMF President Peter Králik, and Sports Councilor Gemma Balanyà.

By taking over the official seat from Bulgaria, Cambrils aims to consolidate its sports tourism brand and commitment to women's sports. The EMF Champions League and Women's Champions League are scheduled from September 23 to 26, followed by the Euro Cup and the Masters Cup, which run until September 29.
