Cameo Resources begins first drilling program at Katoro gold project

Cameo Resources has commenced its initial drilling program at the Katoro gold project in Tanzania. Located within the Lake Victoria Goldfield, the project is situated less than 14 kilometers from the producing Buckreef gold mine.

Geophysical surveys and surface analyses have identified over 80 high-priority exploration targets. Brian Thurston, Director and Head of Geology at Cameo Resources, noted that the start of this drilling phase follows significant geological assessments aimed at exploring the potential of the region.
