Cameo Resources prepares drilling at Katoro gold project in Tanzania

Cameo Resources is preparing to commence a drilling program at the Katoro Project, located within the Lake Victoria Goldfield in Tanzania. The company has identified 80 high-priority drilling targets and five specific zones using advanced drone geophysics, which revealed strong massive sulfide signatures.

Rock samples from the area have shown gold grades of up to 238 g/t, situated in close proximity to the producing Buckreef Mine operated by TRX Gold. The initial phase of the drilling program, which is fully funded, will focus on testing the first 10 to 15 target zones within the Sukumaland Belt. Cameo Resources holds licenses for the project through March 2029.
