Camerino celebrates cultural heritage with Rocca Varano reopening and tourism events

Camerino is celebrating significant cultural milestones through the reopening of historical sites and local tourism events. After ten years of closure, Rocca Varano is scheduled to officially reopen on Monday, October 12, following extensive restoration and safety works funded by the Marche Region. The project includes the creation of a new tourist route designed to promote the city's historical heritage and provide educational opportunities.

Additionally, the city recently hosted the ‘Caccia ai Tesori Arancioni’ (Orange Treasure Hunt), a large-scale national event organized by the Touring Club Italiano. Sixteen teams participated in a journey through Camerino’s landmarks, including the Monastery of Santa Chiara and the Church of San Venanzetto, using puzzles and history to explore the town's identity and cultural heritage.
