Cameron Kuchar leads Bearcat Invitational after two rounds

The Bearcat Invitational at Coldstream Country Club saw significant individual performances during the first two rounds of play. Freshman Cameron Kuchar is currently tied for the lead after recording rounds of 3-under 68 and 4-under 67. He shares the top position with Michael Lugiano of Liberty and Yixiang Wang of Memphis.

Liberty holds the team lead at 14-under par, three strokes ahead of the field. In the Kentucky men’s golf standings, the team sits in sixth place at 4-under par. Gabriel Hull provided a standout performance for the Wildcats, shooting a 6-under 65 in the second round, which matches the sixth-best 18-hole round in the program’s history. Other notable individual performances include Cameron Phillips and Jacob Settles for Kentucky, and Sam Udovich for TCU, who shot a 5-under 66 in the second round.

The tournament concludes with a final round scheduled for Tuesday morning.
