Cameron Winklevoss and David Hoffman predict Zcash growth driven by AI
Gemini co-founder Cameron Winklevoss and Bankless co-founder David Hoffman have expressed bullish outlooks for the cryptocurrency Zcash (ZEC), citing the rise of artificial intelligence as a primary driver for demand in financial privacy.
Winklevoss suggested that Zcash could trade above $5,000 per coin. His thesis rests on the idea that as AI capabilities improve, financial privacy becomes increasingly vulnerable, thereby increasing the value of privacy-focused assets. He noted that Zcash may track AI developments more closely than Bitcoin's traditional halving cycles. He estimated that if Zcash reached 10% of Bitcoin's market value, the price would increase fivefold.
Similarly, David Hoffman predicted that Zcash could reach 10% of Bitcoin's market capitalization in the current cycle and potentially 25% in the next. Hoffman argued that the increasing capacity for AI-powered financial monitoring will boost the necessity for privacy technologies. He also highlighted Zcash's ability to offer both transparent and private transaction options as a potential advantage for corporate users.
