Cameroon community events celebrate local sports and academic excellence

Various community celebrations took place in Cameroon, highlighting local achievements in sports and academics.

In Ndikiniméki, the third edition of the Festi Foot Jacques Bakelak concluded at the Nébolen high school stadium. Falaise FC won the football tournament after a 0-0 draw against TÕRFIÕN FC Ndokohok, ultimately securing victory through a 4-2 penalty shootout. The event was attended by local political and administrative officials, including the Sub-Prefect of Ndikiniméki, Dieudonné Yana Molo.

In Yaoundé, the Bandenkop community held its fourth annual Excellence Days at the Olembe annex stadium. The event honored 407 young people from kindergarten to higher education for their academic, sporting, and cultural achievements. Organized under the vision of the Bandenkop King, Homsi Feze Francis, the ceremony aimed to promote unity and collective prosperity within the community.
