Cameroon, EU, and France coordinate Global Gateway projects

Cameroon, the European Union, and France are coordinating efforts to accelerate structural projects and prepare for upcoming funding cycles. During an interministerial meeting in Yaoundé, officials reviewed technical cooperation and discussed the next Global Gateway cycle in Cameroon.

Discussions focused on strategic sectors including energy, transport, digital technology, infrastructure, and value chains. Preparations are already underway for the 2028-2034 European programming period, with a specific focus on identifying projects for 2027 that can deliver tangible results. The goal is to better align cooperation instruments, financing, and technical assistance with Cameroon's national priorities.
