Cameroon's Fonds-Proto 2026 rewards 35 industrialization projects

The 6th edition of the Prototyping Support Fund (Fonds-Proto) 2026 has concluded, recognizing 35 innovative projects from Cameroonian SMEs and entrepreneurs. Organized by the Agency for the Promotion of SMEs (APME), the initiative focused on the theme of financing local solutions and the industrialization of Cameroon.

The selected projects were evaluated based on criteria including relevance, utility, feasibility, profitability, and their potential for growth and job creation. The award ceremony, presided over by the Minister of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts, Achille Bassilekin III, included the presentation of checks and trophies to the winners to support their development stages.
