Clark has played an influential role in Amodei’s career, including introducing him to former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, who became an early investor in Anthropic. Her entrepreneurial history includes co-founding Eddice, a luxury adult media venture aimed at women. Reports indicate that Clark sought financial backing for this venture from Jeffrey Epstein.

Clark was also part of the Silicon Valley social circles involving key figures in the AI safety and Effective Altruism movements, having lived in a San Francisco group house with Amodei and other prominent figures in those fields.
