Camila Coelho: From YouTube tutorials to global fashion entrepreneur

Camila Coelho has transitioned from a beauty content creator to a prominent figure in the global fashion and beauty industries. Beginning her career in 2010 by posting makeup tutorials while working at a Dior counter in Boston, the Brazilian entrepreneur expanded her reach from Portuguese-speaking audiences to a global English-speaking following.

Her professional milestones include collaborations with major brands such as Lancôme and the launch of the Camila Coelho Collection for Revolve. Her business ventures have expanded from ready-to-wear fashion to include swimwear and the beauty brand Elaluz, founded in 2020. Additionally, she collaborated with Brazilian designer Patricia Bonaldi of PatBO on a capsule collection featuring handcrafted details.

Coelho’s influence was recognized in 2025 when she was named to the TIME100 Creators list, becoming the only Brazilian included in that cohort.
