Camila Giorgi welcomes first child, Magnus Vangelis

Italian tennis star Camila Giorgi has announced the birth of her first child, a son named Magnus Vangelis Pasutti, born on September 19, 2026. The announcement was shared via her Instagram account.

The child's names were a joint decision between Giorgi and her husband, Andreas Ignacio Pasutti, an Argentine former player and current coach. Magnus was chosen by the father, while Vangelis was selected by Giorgi.

The couple married in Buenos Aires on February 26, 2026, shortly after announcing the pregnancy. During her pregnancy, Giorgi resided largely in Mallorca, Spain, where she maintained a specialized training program to stay physically prepared for her professional return.

Giorgi, who reached a career-high ranking of world No. 26 and won four WTA titles, has expressed her intention to return to the professional WTA circuit in 2027. She has continued to train even during her pregnancy to facilitate a gradual comeback to competitive tennis.
