Camila Mariz promotes women's health and social support in Paraíba

Paraíba First Lady Camila Mariz has participated in several initiatives focused on women's health and social empowerment. In Itaporanga, she delivered a lecture titled ‘A Força do Cuidado’ (The Strength of Care), addressing female leadership, social support, and the ‘Outubro Rosa’ (Pink October) breast cancer awareness campaign.

During the event in Itaporanga, investments in the Vale do Piancó region were highlighted, including over R$ 324 million for the municipality and more than R$ 1.28 billion for the entire Metropolitan Region, targeting health, education, and social programs.

In João Pessoa, Mariz also attended the official opening of Pink October activities at the Senador Humberto Lucena State Emergency and Trauma Hospital. The campaign, themed ‘Mulheres do Trauma e a Prevenção do Câncer de Mama’ (Trauma Women and Breast Cancer Prevention), emphasizes the importance of early diagnosis and the humanization of medical care for both patients and healthcare professionals.
