Camila Zamorano to defend WBC atom weight title in Acapulco

WBC atom weight champion Camila ‘La Magnífica’ Zamorano is scheduled to defend her title against Brenda ‘Hormiguita’ Balderas on November 12 in Acapulco, Mexico. The bout will serve as the main event of the 63rd WBC Convention at Mundo Imperial.

During the official presentation, rapper Santa Fe Klan announced his support for Zamorano by pledging to establish ‘Zamorano Promotions’. The project aims to support young Mexican boxing talent and allow Zamorano to combine her athletic career with professional promotion. The rapper stated he intends to use his resources and reach to benefit the project without taking personal profit.

The event, organized by Promociones Zanfer, will also feature former world champion Luis ‘Pantera’ Nery facing Jonathan Fierro for a WBC title. The boxing card is expected to be broadcast via TV Azteca and ESPN.
