Camille Combal discusses career origins and departure from TPMP
French television host Camille Combal shared details regarding his career trajectory and past professional decisions during an appearance on the UNBX podcast, hosted by Hugo Clément and Marc Simoncini.
Combal addressed his departure from the show Touche pas à mon poste (TPMP) and the C8 network. He revealed that despite receiving offers from Cyril Hanouna and Canal+ to extend his collaboration for another one or two years, he chose to decline them to pursue a new career direction. He expressed gratitude toward Hanouna, noting that Hanouna played a significant role in his professional rise and that he feels only affection and recognition for his former employer.
Additionally, Combal disclosed that he used a forged journalism diploma to secure an initial position at Fun Radio. He described the incident as a bluff to gain access to the newsroom, which eventually led to his rapid ascent through radio stations like NRJ and his current status as a prominent figure on TF1.
