Camillo Venesio discusses long-term economic vision in Turin
At the International Economics Festival in Turin, Camillo Venesio, Vice President of the Italian Banking Association (ABI) and CEO of Banca del Piemonte, emphasized the necessity of a long-term vision to address Italy's evolving economic and social challenges.
Venesio highlighted critical transformations such as demographic shifts, declining birth rates, and increased life expectancy. He noted that these phenomena directly impact family needs, the labor market, welfare systems, and business prospects. To navigate these changes, Venesio called for increased collaboration between institutions, businesses, research sectors, and the banking system to support innovation, productivity, and generational renewal.
