Camilo Huerta files counterclaim against Marité Matus alleging violence

Camilo Huerta has filed a counterclaim in a legal battle against Marité Matus, alleging psychological and physical violence during their marriage. The legal action follows Matus's initial filing for a fault-based divorce, in which she cited alleged infidelities involving Huerta.

According to details released by journalist Cecilia Gutiérrez, Huerta’s lawsuit describes instances of psychological abuse, including verbal reproaches regarding his financial contributions to the household. The documents reportedly contain instances where Matus labeled him with derogatory terms such as ‘narcissist’ and ‘little man.’

Furthermore, the lawsuit includes an allegation of physical violence, specifically an incident where Matus reportedly threw a glass of water in Huerta’s face. The legal proceedings continue as both parties present conflicting accounts of their relationship and the reasons for their separation.
