Camilo releases fifth studio album ‘Para Cuando Sean Mayores’

Colombian singer Camilo has released his fifth studio album, ‘Para Cuando Sean Mayores’ (For When You Grow Up). The 13-track pop project was inspired by his experience as a father, intended as a metaphorical ‘toolbox’ or guide for his daughters, Índigo and Amaranto.

During the creative process, Camilo noted that the project became a journey of self-discovery, allowing him to reconnect with his own childhood. The album features organic instrumentation and includes collaborations with his wife, Evaluna Montaner, on the track ‘La Medalla’, as well as songs dedicated to her, such as ‘For Eva’ and ‘Luna’.

Musically, the album explores various rhythms, including bossa nova and bolero, and utilizes storytelling elements like puppets and theatrical narratives. Camilo has announced an international tour to support the release, with scheduled stops in Colombia, Spain, and the United States.
