Caminhos da Celulose begins bridge works on MS-040
Caminhos da Celulose has begun revitalization works on two bridges located at kilometers 205 and 223 of the MS-040 highway in Mato Grosso do Sul. The project aims to improve road infrastructure and enhance safety for travelers.
During the construction period, heavy vehicles, including trucks, are temporarily prohibited from passing through these two points. For light vehicles such as cars and motorcycles, traffic remains permitted but will operate under a ‘Stop and Go’ system, allowing only one light vehicle to cross at a time.
Logistics companies and drivers traveling between São Paulo, Bataguassu, and Campo Grande are advised to use the BR-267 as an alternative route to avoid delays and congestion. The concessionaire recommends that transport companies plan their itineraries in advance to mitigate impacts on cargo operations.
