Businesses along the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route in Spain are experiencing notable activity. In Camponaraya, Pizzería La Nonna, run by David Elías Pérez and Lidia Lorenzo, has established itself as a regional culinary reference. After ranking as runners-up in Castilla y León, the establishment has entered Spain's Top 20 pizza makers and plans to compete in the IV Spanish Pizza Championship with an artisanal octopus and prawn pizza.

In the Redondela area, the former Casa Antón hotel is currently on the market for 780,000 euros. Located in Soutoxuste near the N-550 highway, the property features eleven renovated rooms and a large restaurant with views of the San Simón inlet. The sale comes amid a surge in pilgrimage activity, with over 210,000 pilgrims recorded on the Portuguese variants of the route this year.
